It seemed like a good idea. The original is about people who died too young, but I'm not that ose; this is just about filkers who made an impression.The one point I really wanted to make was that we aren't so far apart in the grand scheme of things.
Obviously, there could be about fifty more verses; if everybody pitches in, I think we can do it... OK, I'm kidding. By the way, I use a drop-D tuning for this to get a bigger sound, but that isn't particularly necessary.
